I seem to remember defending Paul and his drive this year in a thread recently... I can't find it, but it'd be interesting to see who has backflipped...
I liked PD in a Holden mate and was probably his strongest supporter on here at the start of the season.
He's done a great job this year and I am looking forward to that form continueing.
I think as a driver, PD has matured bucket loads under Rod Nash's watchful eye so Rod deserves a big pat on the back as well!!
For sure, very well done Rod Nash for having the vision and the guts to take on Paul and FPR. |

Dumbrell is now 9th in the championship.
I'm not really a Dumbrell fan but you have to give him credit for his performance this year.
Fair enough but there are still many others who will do better in that car
In your opinion.
I should've said consistently better, as in all year, not one or two flash in the pan performances. |

And that "Little" change should help the 3 (or 4) FPR cars next year be a force to be reckoned with!
Anyways, congrats to PD - to think I was a bit skeptical when he announced the switch... |

It's called upside.
Dumbrell is 9th in the championship and has plenty of upside. Murphy is 19th and has none.
Oppossing trajectories!
Anyways let's not spoil this thread with Murph talk shall we!
How the tables have turned....would have been a little different if PD was still in a Holden...off-topic comments from you Ford blokes would be raining down by now...PD deserves his time in the limelight
Darwin a letter and number for you T8
Well done to Dumbrell and FPR for putting 100% into their parthership with RNR, unlike others.
This race last year Dumbrell was being lapped and holding up Ingall, so Tander could get the win in typical HRT/Walkinshaw team tactics style.
All 3 FPR cars are starting to show that "Little" difference.

Posted - 15 Nov 2010 : 08:28:50 firstly i'd say congrats to PD also. but isnt the majority of people here hypocrits, most people are calling for murphs, richo & jnr's heads for not being on the podiums, yet murph for one has had plenty of podiums & one on the weekend too, yet he's bagged for being past it. yet PD scores his first podium & its all praise. maybe PD has never had it to get past it. |

There has certainly been many ups and downs in PDs career (mainly downs) but its great to see him getting everything in order both on and off the track Too bad it was in a Ford, but I can put this aside and say well done
I think that you mean Frosty's first ever Tassie Round win....Frosty 261 points versus PD 258! |

Posted - 15 Nov 2010 : 04:59:09 Well done Dumbrell! Obviously a popular podium up and down pit lane as RK made mention of it during the race in an interview and Will D congratulating him a the end (we didn't se him come on track to congratulate Garth on sat!). well deserved podium. |
