Could we see Rullo race in the series next year?

Good to see a couple of independents very well placed in the standings.

Can last years champ challenge for the championship? Hes almost half the points back from the leader now.

Colin Turkington back in the lead of the championship after Oulten Park.
The Subaru team have been no where this season.

The name Triple Eight might be absent from the entry list, but Triple Eight Racing UK is owned by Warren Scott, who runs the works Subaru's for Ash Sutton and Jason Plato.

The last time there wasn't a Triple 8 car on the grid was 1996.

Speedweek shown the first round at Brands Hatch last weekend. Even for BTCC standards it was quite messy.

ITV has good review coverage of it, even better if you can stay up late/early and watch it live.
Donnington Park was yet another good few rounds of racing.

I'm a bit late to it this year but it's about-damn-time those Focuseseses were brought up to... well, current-ish spec body shape. (Just in time for the new one, I suppose). They've been running that old body for too long, especially so close to it's native land. And the Civic Type R should be good too. The wing on it was almost big enough to use as it's race aero. I'll try and catch up on the season, probably on Fox.

Anyone watch the opening round last weekend? The second race was exciting seeing the back markers come through with slicks to win the race.

No Rullo in 2018, but Rob Austin will be in the Alfa.

Season starts this weekend, too!

The Shredded Wheat Motorbase Ford Focuses have been updated to RS bodywork.

New Civic Type R for Halfords Yuasa in 2018, looks pretty tough.

An Alfa Dealer Team still sounds good though, the ADT was a staple of the BSCC & BTCC from 1981 through until 1988 with an assortment of John West-backed Alfa Sud, GTV6 and 75 models

Be great if Rullo gets the drive, been a while since an Aussie has been in the BTCC, Hyla Breese in 2002 the last?

FbF Alfa dealers are supporting the entry so not factory backed.

They were factory backed enough to be registered for the Manufacturers Championship, but the deal being more about a B2B with PMR, then that would explain why the press release at the top of the thread is so positive despite no results to speak of!

Is Alfa supporting the entry?

Looks good either way, and a good steerer in Rob Austin at the wheel
