Lets say "team/teams X" decided to do something out of the ordinary and run one car from each manufacturer. Larry ran a falcon back in the Castrol days for Longhurst.
All the different parts you would need could be a problem as well as only getting half the data aquired.

It would be cool to see,one sponsor to different manufactures one team! Could have ford loving people working to engineer one car and holden loving to engineer the other, imagine the inter team rivalry

I'll think that yo'll find that Larry had SFA to do with Tony's machine...which has been reincarnated at FPR this year....EL looked a lot better though!

That's great, it starts with an earthquake

It'd be awkward, it'd also be better if it was a two-team sort of thing, both teams running one falcon and one commodore.

The problem is, the manufacturers wouldn't like it. What would you do when it came to Enduro time?

No.. No...
I'd think Holden would what a team with their cars in it, being run by someone who knew what they were doing or at the very least, wanted to win races.

This is not correct. Larry had nothing to do with TLR (Tony Longhurst Racing). The only thing the 2 teams had in common was the spsonser!!

And the answer to the topic question.. IS... why would you bother??

Yep! Betta Electrical had sponsorship for Team Brock and Briggs organisation. Kinda cool though! i think Betta Electrical were happy with the exposure! but two different teams.

because you can

I can recall years ago people saying, why would you bother going to 4 cars...it would never work. Now itís the most controversial topic in our sport.

"HYPOTHETICALLY SPEAKING" What if TKR or JBR came to some sort of commercial agreement with PMM to team up, more so for the workshop and logistics and run their car along side team sirromet in team colors.

If they pooled their resources, would they be grouped ..?
Would it be cost effective for two single car teams to team up and share the costs

GenR8, send your idea to the only man who'd give it a shot, Craig Gore. The publicity would more than make up for the negatives for a team that wasn't a front runner.
