Some nice synergy with it being Rogerís 17th win as an owner and Will carrying number 12 to victory lane.

Gotta say it was the first time and it will remain the only time that I have or will be cheering on a Chevrolet powered car

Was pretty dominant from towards mid-distance on. Well deserved win. Will and Ed Carpenter were the only two, save perhaps for Tony Kanaan until the last stint, who seemed have a handle on the new aero kits this year, their cars were planted all race while so many others were skating around.

Great drive from Rossi to run from 32nd to 4th as well

Great job by Will Power. Finally! I watched Monaco last night, stoked to see Ricciardo win. Watched about the first third of Indy then went to bed, hoping when I wake up I'd be reading the good news and sure enough, he did it. Let's hope it doesn't take another 102 runnings to get an Aussie win.

At least he didn't do a Shoey{TM}. He'd have been eating the milk instead.

And Matt Hall won the Japanese leg of the Red Bull Air Race - taking the championship lead in the process.

The great 2019 poll about whether Tricky should be banned or not ended in favour of Tricky staying, 75% to 25%

I watched their brilliantly edited highlights on Youtube earlier and there were some awesome passes thrown down by Alex Rossi.

Would it be wrong to compare Robert Wickens performances so far to Nigel's debut Indycar season?

Those Rossi moves were not for the small of balls

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.

The difference here is that Wickens got the hang of the ovals far more quickly

Then he should have stuck with the quick sip he had first and passed it on the team as others have done in the past.

I didn't realise there were rules for celebrating. Perhaps when you win the Indy 500 you can do it your way.

Just ask Emerson Fittipaldi about what happens why you don't follow the rules for celebrating an Indy 500 win

Power also was not doing it "his way" in victory circle.
