I recall that TWR, Tom Walkinshaw Racing, initially raced BMW.

Seriously, though, REM. Assuming this all plays out and SM leaves....

I say Anton de Pasquale. Only he, Todd Hazelwood, and Andre Heimgartner fit the bill.

Unless you want to go deep and come overseas, then you have Austin Cindric or maybe Ricky Taylor. Both Penske shoes and the former Tim's son and be swapped out, like-for-like, to give SM a place in NASCAR.

Lets just get this out in the open. Scotty M is going no where. Why would DJR Team Penske want to lose their star driver here to become a nobody over there. When has a road course racer ever done well on an oval. Just forget the whole thing and move on. He is not going anywhere.

Considering Gen3 comes in 2022, why would BMW debut in the series with a car thatíll only be eligible for one year?

Would the 8 Series fit the platform without too much chopping and changing?

It wonít enter In 2021, the deal will be signed and funding will start in 2021 so the car can be built to new regs and debut with that. If people are lucky theyíll get a demo lap prior but highly doubt it with how slowly Supercars get their **** together.

WAU story by James Phelps was in the Adelaide Sunday Mail today.
Says M3 or M4 would fit the platform nicely

Not a fan of Phelps but that is what itíll be.

I agree Joe, the only thing here that the OP mentions that may happen in 2021 is who to Penske in 2021 but if anyone is replaced itíll be Fabs and the yearly discussions will be back on the table but now Chaz is locked up unless his form suddenly plummets or he stops playing the game he is safe.

Who will be in Jdub seat? That is the question, if he donít win 2020 then he is out. Anton would be my choice but will he leave Betty?

And here is something else to ponder, RDs retirement is coming and guess who will be the new RD in a few years?

They donít own Scotty - he can do whatever he wants. If he wants to race oval, heíll find a team. Better for Penske if they give him a drive - with a clause keeping him as a co-driver at Bathurst.

Ambrose did well - 7 years racing in the series.

Scotty Mac has more talent and simulators will help him get up to speed faster than Ambrose was able to - also heíll have a more competitive car if Penske gives him a drive.

Win championships? Probably not. But I can see him winning races.

Numerous times. But most notably for me, Nigel Mansell.
