Just cracked open 1990 Bathurst.

Havenít watched much but one thing that stood out was Win having the mother of all moments at Sulman Park earlier in the week. Damn nearly wrote the thing off, important considering what happened on the Sunday. Was a fair catch and wouldíve taken a few years off him.

A lot of depth in the field this year. Top 7 rows all had claims and the Euro quality was strong

Edit. It really is a cracking race. So much going on. Sierras really butchered it. And the 18 car putting inters on!! And that GTR.

Richard Hay to his credit tipped the winners pre race.

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.

If only local television would still get Richard Hay to come out for Bathurst these days

He was absent from Eurosport this year sadly, so was Martin Haven. They did a few shout outs to him watching from home, i missed them along with Chris Parsons doing their traditional graveyard shift which was always the best bit of the Eurosport coverage

Neville and Richard were two of the fathers of Radio Lemans back in 1987 also

The 1999 Bathurst Super Touring race has just been released.

That was on the long weekend too wasn't it? If it was, that was the first Bathurst race I ever watched as a kid.

Great Grand Finals vol 2 is available too. That release is Oran Park 1986, 1991 and 1994.

Volume 5 will be highlights of the 1998, 1999 and 2000/2001 Super Touring Championship.

Group C Gold is all AMSCAR stuff from 1979, 1980, 1981, 1982 and 1983.

Iím wondering why Group C Gold wasnít named Awesome Amaroo Vol 3?

I loved Amaroo, but plenty of other Group C races that Channel 7 covered at other tracks could have been included
