Kicking myself I missed this when they first came out as they don't come up on Ebay or similiar sites all that often nowadays
Definitely remember the Masterton Capri's and Falcon's from when I was first going to races as a young tacker |

Not sure if this is cool or not, but a quick shout out to Apex Replicas from whom I bought Hamilton's McLaren MP4-26, recently.
It arrived with the front wing detached - it had snapped off - within 48 hours I had a brand new car in my hands and hadn't even sent the damaged one back yet - all from one email. Richard is a legend. It's only the second car I've bought so its not like he was looking after 'one of his best' customers.
My feel-good story for the day - as I said - mods, if plugging an online shop isn't cool I'll delete this post - let me know. |

Sounds like an early Christmas!
Nah just cleaning out the unwanted cars in my collection. Got rid of nearly all of my Lowndes cars in 1:18 & 1:43.
Still have 17@ 1:18 scale, 39@ 1:43 scale & 86@ 1:64 scale cars to try and sell off. |

I gave up on 1:43rd Scale because Australian Releases became so all over the place...
NASCAR Fan, so lets give this a go!
Collection so far, next batch on its way though! Some historic one's are what I'm really looking forward to... (Hendrick and Roush are coming)

If you don't mind me asking ASH, how much do the NASCAR models cost? About the same as the respective model size of the V8's?

Usually around $5 - $10 plus postage for a 1:64 Scale Model and $50 - $100 for a 1:24 Scale Model...
So a fair bit cheaper than their respective scales in the V8 Supercars, purely because of the quantity produced in the states I suppose. You just need to find yourself a good ebay Dealer who will look after you. Plus I've been looking for a few rarer sets, which I will post pics of once they get here |

They're not cars but they are still models, I decided to buy two Case Steigers because they were pink and green. Its not often you see a Case in a colour other than red.
EDIT: I decided to buy to another Case the day after and this time it was the more modern Steiger 435, and today at the local swap meet I bought a Trax XD ESP in metallic silver and a Plum Dinger LC GTR XU1.
Oh, and if you are into historic racing models, Trax have made the Des West FX48 215 which is the only car left from the first ATCC.
