There is a second Coca Cola ZB Commodore in the garages are The Bend.
Plus, Chris Pither was in / out of the Team Sydney Transporter today wearing a Polo / TShirt with a big 22 on the back, Team Sydney Logo and his name on it.

2015, purchased by CS for team 18 crashed and rebuilt multiple times.

Later upgraded by Team 18 to ZB.

A year later traded in with 888 by Team 18 for a newer car.

Then the car was refurbished by 888 as their 2019 spare and used for VCAT testing.

The Team Sydney purchased the car from 888 for 2020.

If my musing is correct, Courtneys car was originally a VF raced by 888 back in 2014.

My head hurts.
...

It now appears that the new purchase has been allocated to Pither and Courtney will drive the car that TEKNO used for some years.

I wonder if the Coke signs on Pither's will continue to race meetings? Have TKR claimed credit in some way?

That's my question too.

Nice pun.

So just to round up Adderton's moves in the past 2 years:
1. Move to GRM and cut ties with GT because he's 'too old' for Boost's brand image. End's GT's full-time career. Back a young talent who needed guidance. Fair enough... maybe?
2. Quit Supercars because they wouldn't rush in a complete front upright. Thus also, ending GRM, and the young talent he was nurturing. Now you start to ask questions...

And the kicker:
3. Merely three months on, return to the same category that is yet to have a complete standardised front upright, with a driver who is only 1 year shy of where Tander was. Brand image? Young talent? Front uprights?

This guy just does what he wants and makes any reason for it.
Probably worked out well for GT and GRM though.

And he has got involved with a basket case organisation with Captain Kaos Mk2 at the wheel?

I feel for Chris Pither, it's great to see him in a full time gig again but how long will it last with a pair of loose cannons calling the shots?

New Commodore Hey! So you used your own money? Would you like to buy a used bridge?

And this, along with his stupid comments to the media on the regular is why I won't ever use Boost Mobile.

On the one hand, its good to see the Sieders family get an opportunity like this, but on the other, it shows how cobbled together the whole thing is.

RIP05

_Mholden

RIP LJ - loved and never forgotten.

"It was dry for the second go-around. Grice, nervous, worrying about his Bathurst jinx, ran 2:25.9. The amazing Brock, using every last centimetre of bitumen, yet keeping the car straight and balanced and at full noise, came back with a staggering 2:20.0 as if to say: "Match that". And people just shook their heads, bit their lips and wondered who would be second".

The Peter Brock trophy is now where it belongs.
