The biggest news in Supercars history since David Thexton retired!

I think it could be a good thing. It will maintain interest for longer and keep more potential winners in the game. For example Cam Waters this year. Cam had a bad couple of rounds which basically ruined his championship alomost at the start of the year.

You have to consider that Supercars is a business in the entertainment industry and is competing with all of the ball sports, none of which have a "fist past the post" points system. This maybe what is needed.

It had been a few years since I visited until recently and this is my first post in I can't remember how long. I too have lost interest in Supercars mainly due to my disappointment with the way DJR handled Bathurst 2019. I have sup[ported DR my whole life and that left a really bad taste in my mouth along with the subsequent treatment of Fabs. I find it difficult to support another team but find it equally hard to support DJR now too.
I must admit that the Toyota news has piqued my interest which is why I have come back to the forum.
