So the big question is...was everyone involved  in the wind tunnel testing process aware that the Camaro & Mustang would have such different characteristics?

I do believe that parity is the closest it's ever been, and I find it somewhat interesting that certain track suit certain cars to mix up the results.

I am concerned though that these one sided results will continue at Bathurst or do we believe that it will be different next time as the Mustang package is refined over the next year?

I would love to hear everyone thoughts.

The closer the cars are, a small difference will have a larger effect.  In turn it makes it harder to identify issues.

After the SC, No Mustangs had the sustained pace of Camaro. All with full tanks and fresh rubber, Cam and Mostert were no match for 888 and Kostecki. Even Goulding was closing in.

The Camaro is strong on the straights. I believe there is still work to do. 3-4 tenths over a Bathurst lap is a pretty big gap. Yes, the top Ford drivers made mistakes, however they are driving the car harder to keep up.

Yep once again totally agree 100 % the Mustangs are just not up to the job but Kosteki was just faultless that Chiko Camaro was set up perfectly & driven perfectly & T8 are still showing everyone how its done they run a great show.
The Mustangs where reliable enough but just had absolutely no chance to have a crack.
Well done Erebus & Kosteci.

That wasn't you that everyone could hear on TV shouting "How are ya gunna **** this race?".

On another note, Erebus should be celebrating their second Bathurst 1000 win, but instead they're out extinguishing self inflicted dumpster fires, such as an after hours incident which may not have actually occurred.

Le Brocq and Ojeda were burnt by the VSC, somehow?
Erebus were looking good for a 1st and 4th, which would've matched their 2017 effort, IIRC.

They were burnt by Erebus. Barry sacrificed him for the chance to win in the #1 car (as per his previous acknowledgement

I'm not sure what people expect Supercars to do...They are using worlds best practices for both aero & engines & they cars have been matched.

The only way from here to stop all the whingeing is BOP.

BOP will cause a lot of issues. In every series it exists there are issues. It isn't clear cut and it makes racing overly political and tactical.
