that is an issue with what they are doing. in footy finals you are only playing one other team at a time. and, correct me if wrong, the top teams also have a 'second chance' game?

if Joe Bloggs has the most amazing season in history and wins every race of the season but has dnf's at the GC tough luck. that is not what a racing season is about!

best I can tell once out of the 10 all you are racing for is a contract for the next year.

also, how will it affect the teams championship? they aren't racing for a first up pit lane advantage anymore.

will the lower teams use the last 3 weekends to try some new blood? not worth anything else to them.
