I guess I kind of forgot Gil raced in Supercars once:

He also dusted off his helmet in a final farewell to driving at the 2011 Gold Coast 600 V8 Supercars event, where he laughed and had fun thrashing a Ford Falcon around the Surfers Paradise circuit in Australia with the Tekno Autosports team.

That was the year that "celebrity" drivers from all other aspects of racing got involved in the enduro round at the Gold Coast.  Chicane cutting was essentially allowed as it happened so much. 

And somewhere in there, if I remember correctly, DJR slipped Steve Owen in as Courtney's co-driver.
