Second double podium of the season if my maths is right... But still yet to breakthrough for that win.

Your math is spot on, Arrow.  You double podiumed back at Perth/Barbagallo/Wanneroo/CARCO.com.au Raceway, etc.

We are about to get back into action this weekend at Sandown.  Possibly the last time to run there?

Aside from our regular fantasy league, we will have the Enduro Cup and the Open Invitational Enduro Cup going on for the next two rounds, in parallel.

The V8CFL Enduro Cup is between all of our ten regulars in the V9CFL.  Teams have been paired up and noted in the proper thread.  Something we have pretty much done every year at this time.

The V8CFL Open Invitational Enduro Cup is open to all members of V8 Central.  A separate contest and format.

So, a three pronged attack with respect to the action the next couple of rounds.

When did we add an extra cylinder? 8)

I like to think that my eyesight is going sideways vice my brain, skaifey!  That was a good spot.

Back to eight cylinders:  The deadline for both the V8CFL and the Open Invitational Enduro Cup has passed.  All rosters are locked in.

Remember, three tourneys this round:  V8CFL, V8CFL Enduro Cup, and V8CFL Open Invitational Enduro Cup.

Oh.  Yeah.  And the V8CFL Tournament.

Good luck to all!

Had a chance to watch the whole race weekend.  Results will be out in the morning (here).  I'm about 13-14 hours behind you guys.

I will say that I didn't win1   ;D

Sandown Results are posted for the V8CFL, the V8CFL Tournament, the V8CFL Enduro Cup, and the V8CFL Open Invitational Enduro Cup.

Phew...!  I am already exhausted.

In the V8CFL, Bundaberg Rum Racing blasted the entire field for the win.  Ecurie SCarGo and TGI Racing were a distant second and third.  You'd need binoculars to find Bundaberg Rum Racing.

There is only one round of the V8CFL Tournament left before the post season and that is Bathurst.  The standings are tightening up.

In the V8CFL Enduro Cup, one of the enduro teams is Bundaberg Rum Racing and Ecurie SCarGo.  They are WAAAYYYYY out in front.

And one last thing:  The 118 car was issued a post race penalty of 30 points for a pit road infringement - loose wheel nut on pit road.  This docking of the points is noted in the V8CFL Open Invitational Enduro Cup.  It does not affect any of the other three contests for the 118 car has no impact on them.

See you at Bathurst.

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT - TOURNAMENT ERROR IN SCORING

Men, I realized earlier today that there was an error in the Tournament Results for Round 7 at Sydney Motorsports Park.  The point tallies were all correct but instead of using the SMP matchups I somehow used the Sandown Matchups.  I realized that when I noticed I had raced TAA Performance for the SECOND time this season.  We all only raced each other individually once.

This is what the original SMP Results from Round 7:

R&K Motorsports              1422
TAA Performance              1464

Kalyara Racing Team          1341
The Arrow Motorsport         1398

TGI Racing                   1326
Ecurie SCarGo                1293

Ain't Care Motorsports       1248
Bundaberg Rum Racing         1059

Super Seven Racing Aotearoa  1149
Shogun Autosport             1209

These are the Sandown Results from this past weekend:

R&K Motorsports               978
TAA Performance              1188

Kalyara Racing Team          1098
The Arrow Motorsport         1050

TGI Racing                   1236
Ecurie SCarGo                1278

Ain't Care Motorsports       1164
Bundaberg Rum Racing         1344

Super Seven Racing Aotearoa  1212
Shogun Autosport             1032

Notice how the matchups are identical.

THESE are the revised SMP Results for Round 7:

R&K Motorsports              1422
Ain't Care Motorsports       1248

TAA Performance              1464
Kalyara Racing Team          1341

Shogun Autosport             1209
The Arrow Motorsport         1398

TGI Racing                   1326
Super Seven Racing Aotearoa  1149

Ecurie SCarGo                1293
Bundaberg Rum Racing         1059

These revised results are reflected in the Tournament standings.  There were a couple of teams whose W-L record in both the Overall and the Division were affected.

I apologize for this oversight but am glad I caught it prior to awarding the championship later in the year a la Womens' Gymnastics Olympic medals.

But what is now posted in the V8CFL Tournament thread is accurate with one Regular Season round left prior to the post season.

We're getting down to closing time for Bathurst roster changes.  So far we have had four members make tweaks.

This is the last round of the Tournament prior to the post season.

The V8CFL Enduro Cup is on the line.  Ecurie SCarGo & Bundaberg Rum Racing are holding serve at the half way point of the contest.

Also, aside from the V8CFL, do not forget the Open Invitational Enduro Cup wherein six are going for gold.  This is the second half of the contest after the Sandown round.
