So we pick up an extra round (the paperclip) for 2025. Look it's not great, but it's progress.
I'm feeling really optimistic about the series since Toyota has joined.

We're two or so rounds off where we need to be. Phillip Island is always great, but often doesn't produce the racing.
Sonic can probably tell us more, but Winton is a fans track, should probably be on there, but again often doesn't produce good racing.

I'm reserved on the Singapore talks. I think I'd prefer a second weekend in NZ.

Looks like Sandown has lost the single race enduro.

Supersoft tyres Race 1 and Soft tyres for race 2.

BIG fan of this. I see online a lot of people knocking it, but cool to see Supercars putting entertainment into the racing format. I hope it pays off.

Singapore is still a bad pipe dream.Next year the GP there is on 5 October so they would have to move Bathurst. The fan base would respond well to that.

Sonic

@SM... absolutely Winton is the fan's track... but it's also a money pit... gov grants get poured in and SC says 'thanks, we'll take that and more'. some don't like it and that's cool but it is packed out every year it goes there, the campground, the works, regardless of the weather.

a question I'd ask is if SC is 'all that' then why don't they hire out Winton themselves (or whatever track) and bring the show and pocket the money? maybe it's not as good as they might have us believe?

Island is a no-brainer but apparently nobody goes to PI.... perhaps they should check out the grandstands going up for next weekend's event and see what can happen when you bring a show that people want to see? the last event at the Island (from memory) was SC, Porsche, and 2 'slap together' supports that was more akin to a regularity event. no wonder nobody came!

and, like you, forget about Singapore... PLEASE!!!!.. 2nd round in NZ is a no-brainer.

Aren't they going to be different compounds to those used this year?
